SUB-IP – how did we get there
So.. The sub-IP technology is configurable
- E.g. MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, ….
And we wonder: how to control sub-IP technology?
- What information should be taken into account
- Like “could a path exist with certain characteristics”
- Not just “can (or does) a path exist”
Where should the control be?
- Application, routing protocols, NMS ??
